The GOOD news: I collected a new custom ICE Vortex FS yesterday - Magnifico!
The BAD news: Four hours in the car has crocked me. This shows that my back is not sufficiently 'repaired' and that a six hour drive to Norfolk would finish me off. So, I'm afraid I shall be a 'No show', this weeked. I hope you all have a great time and enjoy the Spring weather. Alan B. |

I'll be there! However, being a gent of advanced years (and stonkingly wealthy) I'm staying in a B&B rather than camping. The B&B is in Halvergate, which looks to be about 4-5 miles from Reedham. I should be there in plenty of time for the start but if you start without me please leave a trail of crumbs so I can follow.

Many thanks to all who turned up for a most enjoyable and convivial weekend, and to the Norfolkies for sorting out some excellent weather and cakes. I propose Fraser as BHPC Weather Officer for next season so we can similar conditions for all the races.

Well,that was a crackin' weekend
A total of 9 campers ,one(less hardy) in a B&B braved the Norfolk weather A wee bit foggy early Saturday morning Guess who? but soon cleared up Saturday ride had 12 riders on various machines 4 upwrongs 4 Trikes 2 Quest 1 Ratcatcher 1 (sorry Andrew) rattly Challenge A brief visit to one of Norfolks oddest Churches and one from the deflating fairy Then back over the ferry (duty free shop closed) Sunday dawned a bit less foggy and Burrows rode out on his new green machine (joke) So only with 6 on the ride we had a lovely bimble around the quietest lanes to a very large camping shop where drink and cake were comsumed back to the campsite for 1pm where everyone departed saying it was their goodbyes maybe another camping weekend will be planned for the end of the racing season |
