SON hubs do feel draggy when you try to spin the wheel on the bench but assuming it's properly adjusted – and they seem to be practically bulletproof – you won’t notice when it's actually on the bike.

I understand that the drag is about 3 watts while powering the lights and about 0.5 watts when not supplying power
the effect on bike speed would be tiny in both cases
