I'm booked on the ferry (with car), might as well get my creaking joints to do a bit of racing whilst I'm there.

54.4 and 53.3 kph average for 6 hours is pretty good for a middle-aged man and a small woman! Guess some of the other fast guys had punctures or mechanicals though?

53.3kph is indeed pretty good for a small woman. It's faster than Claire's British record ONE hour pace.
