For Sale: Challenge Hurricane

Fully restored 2 years ago, this machine has been used very little since. It has many new parts and it looks, and rides, like new. It features a Shimano XTR 9-speed rear mech with an 11-34 cassette and a 65/44 chainset. It has been fitted with: 

*NEW* - Wheels (built by Mick Madgett, Diss) and Schwalbe Durano Plus 28-406 tyres 

*New* Shimano hydraulic disc brakes and new rotors 

*NEW* Challenge Headrest (which was very difficult to source!) 

*New* Ventisit Seat Pad 

*New* SRAM Apex cranks with existing Allight Challenge 65 tooth chainring and *NEW* TA 44 tooth chainring 

*New*Altura Rear Rack Pack and Busch and Muller rear light 

*New* SKS Mudguards 

*New* Rixen & Kaul Battery Pack and Bottle Cage 

Complete with additional spare front wheel built with a Shimano Nexus Hub Dynamo, original pannier racks and solid tailbox (which you would probably want to respray – see photos). 

The Challenge Hurricane is a well-behaved small wheeled recumbent which is very easy to ride.
