good news Geoff!

our web site is nearly complete, registration will be open in a few weeks.
all our race options are validated, including the airport strip for sprints

Camping will be free of charge on site, but many good accommodations exist nearby

Looking forward to seeing many entries from over the channel (spectators welcome!)
Please remember the competition is followed by a week of touring

cheers
marc

Hi Marc, yes, we're staying for the touring too - will be good to see you again.

I would say though, for anyone planning on coming and not camping, I would advise booking very soon. As far as I could see, Gites in the immediate vicinity are scarce and, as this is in the French vacation period, hotels are booking up very fast.

I cant make it this year as i have family wedding the weekend after and trip to Italy the week after that so cant swing a pass for this as well... Was all clear until sister in Law decided to get married this year, how unreasonable of her!

Looks like a great mix of events, though not so keen on the idea that the road race is on open roads and there may be cars on the road at the same time!!Thumbs Down

Dunno, that's all it says - perhaps we'd better ask Marc.

Ah, thanks Duncan - missed the link. I'm told a GP may charge about £15 for this.

With my record of crashing Quests I won't be racing but I am thinking of extending my Oslo-Berlin ride (ending August 1st) to Besancon to come and watch. Are any other recumbenteers from the UK planning to get there "the hard way"? If so then send me a PM via this site and we can arrange to meet up for at least part of the route down and all the way back.
