Do BHPC folk who have normal BHPC racing numbers and "transponders" need to remove them so as not to confuse/duplicate the system for the worlds?

Ian - the number range we're using for the Worlds (500 upwards) is different from what we use for BHPC races (1-200). The timing system is given a list of the numbers being used in a particular race and just ignores any tags not in that list.

So no, you don't need to remove your normal tags, except to make space. I haven't tried it but it's probably inadvisable to stick one tag on top of another.
