Need a bike! Just sold my velomobile, and now have nothing. Cue the violins Anybody got anything interesting? Needs to accommodate a 6’1” lump, so medium frames probably won’t cut it for me. Really fancy a LWB, but am pretty open-minded. Would absolutely love a large Bachetta Bella in yellow but I think that’s being a bit too specific, lol. Maybe even consider another a trike if it’s the right one.

Thanks Alan. I did spot that one on eBay. But it’s both a long way away (Scarborough), and a bit too Heath-Robinson for me. Am slightly concerned that it’s an old, American bike. I’m figuring that any specialist spare parts are going to be tricky to source. Much appreciated though.

Hi Brian. Hope you are enjoying your new velo. My DFXL has just gone to your neck of the woods. Potential riding buddy?
I did look at your Fuego, but it’s a more of a low racer configuration than I would like. I had a Velotechnik Speed Machine that was very similar, with the tiller steering, and I couldn’t get on with it at all. Also looking for a large frame bike, and I think yours is the medium. I’d much rather be at the lower end on a big bike than the upper end on a small. Ideally, I’d like to be slap-bang in the middle but what are the chances |

Hi Philip
That sounds very interesting. I’ve just bought the Fuego, but will need a second bike to leave down Devon, where I work. Some more details would be good...... Location, price, steering type, general condition etc. Cheers Andy Edited by Andy G - 09 October 2020 at 10:58pm |

Hi Dougie.
Some more details would be great. Size, steering, location, price etc. I’m just about to drive home from Norwich, so don’t be offended if I go quiet for some time |
