Just noticed that Karl has uploaded a bike ride to Strava on the BHPC Homepage.

Just to make the Karl Sparenburg/Windcheetah/Action Fraud more interesting you might feel like looking at the Times newspaper articles on or around the 17th August.

To simplify it, it appears that the Government/Police farmed out the investigation of fraud to a bunch of muppets going by the name of Action Fraud. They employed a bunch of of previously unemployable (cheap) deadbeats to be the first point of contact for all complaints. The next layer of supervision was uninterested and no doubt further up the food chain people were creaming of fat profits and having a good laugh at our expense.

As we can see from todays revelation that even the Prime Minister is taking us for a ride and considers himself above the law what hope is there for justice unless you are rich and have connections.

Not that I expected anything different.

I have scanned the articles so if anyone wants copies, feel free to PM me.

OK, so three years have passed since I lost a big chunk of cash to AVD.  Did anyone recover anything?  I know the American owner of the green lugged FRO did and maybe a couple suppliers but did anyone else?  How about repercussions for AVD?

Just wondering as a club ride (USA) that I was on yesterday was rehashing AVD’s demise and people were wondering if anyone knew the final chapters of the story.

I haven’t heard anything more.
Spares are available via Kevin at D-Tek and I know Mike has been working on a few repairs etc but beyond that nothing is happening Windcheetah-wise as far as I know.
Very sad as they’re still one of the best trikes.

I saw some tweeting from @AdvancedVelo a month or so ago, and had briefly wondered if the business was coming back, but to be honest, ah hae mah doots.  No news or not, it's kind of confusing reading tweets from the official account.

A few developments on the go ......which I cannot reveal at this stage Clap
But to be clear and avoid any silly rumours Embarrassed
Its without any involvement from KS
I often speak to Mike Burrows and "listen in awe" to his latest ideas projects and results
The brand has been badly tarnished to say the least .
So I feel its more  important to provide help and backup for existing owners
If any owner feels able to make contact with me please quote your frame number and frame size if possible and basic location "worldwide" ie state province country etc
