Last Monday I was in Brampton Bryan, Salop and spotted a Hase trike parked outside The Book Barn.
It was red, heavy and high with an 8 speed Shimano IGH to a two speed at the axle and an electric motor in the front wheel. The owner was a one legged chap who lost his leg 10 years ago when he was 86. I asked about battery life on the motor and he didn't know because he'd only had the motor a fortnight and he doesn't use it often! Frank fron Stockton in Northumberland, I believe. I felt very small being as my riding has tapered off to zilch. |
