My Young Lady recently bought a Trice Micro and is partway through setting it up for long brevets.

We got most of the way through a 600 last weekend (about 580km) and I noticed that the Ortlieb Front Roller panniers stuck out past the carbon seat and even a little past her arms. Both panniers were only half full but she wanted potential space for food. The rack is proprietary (and quite flared) to fit the 355 rear wheel. The powerful headwind was having a very noticeable effect, even at 20-ish kph road speed.

What are more aero options for a small load?

So close to finishing Ouch. I can't answer your question but it was good to see you both (twice) on the road, south of both Chattteris and Goole, I was in my velomobile.

I would recommend some-sort of tailbox. I made one for a trice many years ago from Correx.
Current fleet: Milan SL MK2 #027, Fujin SL II, Beany!

Tailbox is the aero (and noisy) option.

If you want a soft bag, something under/behind the seat might be the way to go.  The smaller set of Radical banananana bags gives you a similar amount of space to a couple of front-rollers, but they stick out a bit in the hardshell seat configuration (there's a different strap lacing for mesh seats that tucks them underneath).  Not sure if you'd have room for a seat-back bag?
