OK I found it.
"3 or 4 groups based on vehicle class will start at given times with 15min intervals. The starting grid
will be based on race number. The riders have to be present at least 5min before their group
starting time. Help at the start is allowed." So a latest start of 6.30 pm? Roy

Don't understand the Bank transfer information at all.
Is there an easier way to pay? I have looked at paying Bram Moens via bank transfer and found it is a long and expensive process with my bank and would cost a lot more than the entry fee. I think it was around £200 and involved several forms. (and that's without Brexit in the system!) I paid Bram with a credit card in the end and that was straightforward.
All the best. Roy |

I don't understand why you would be charged £200 for a simple bank transfer to EU (I do it regularly the other way round for a fee of a few €) We can't have credit card payment. Maybe you could make an arrangement with another UK participant who has a cheaper transfer rate. If not get back to me at afvelocouche@gmail.com As for the starting times, you are about right, but the final schedule will be posted nearer the event.

The fee is advertised at £20 but it turns out that is for them to process the forms and then there is a £180 charge added before the payment amount. It was about 15 months ago and I can't remember the reason for the charge. I could understand the Dutch bank numbers but the French ones don't seem to relate to the forms my bank has. I think asking another participant is probably a good idea. Cash of any country is straightforward with my bank and they give a good exchange rate but I can't send that by post. All the best. Roy

I just asked my daughter and she says (we have the same bank) she paid an Italian speeding fine by bank transfer and they charged about £9 but she did it by ringing the Italian Police and they talked her through giving them the info so I think that it was probably processed by whatever bank the Police use so if it was possible to pay that way it would be OK as it doesn't invoke the exorbitant charge.

I've just seen that the bank info for registration has been changed. I can understand it now. It was the PDF version I couldn't understand.
Thanks. Roy

For the last couple of Worlds (except ours) I used TransferGo. They do transfers to European banks for a fraction of what conventional banks charge.

Still no Brits registered! Don't worry, even after brexit we'll still welcome you ;-) You can see the list of participants here: Looking forward to seeing your name here. Edited by marc - 01 April 2019 at 3:24pm |

I think the concern's more that they won't let us back in afterwards...
(I can't be the only one put off travelling abroad by the continuing prospect of brexit-related chaos, if only at a mundane level like delays and cancellations of ferries.) |
