Getting back into building and am looking for some 4130 drawn tube - 2" x 0.049 wall, 4ft length
Looks like there are a couple of companies that will supply by the foot at a silly price but I thought I check see if anyone had any suggestions for suppliers? had some spare stock themselves? or wanted to get together to maybe get a better price? Any thoughts gratefully received, cheers, Sean |

You will have to pay silly prices for small quantities unfortunately. My next frame will probably be carbonfibre because of the difficulty in obtaining steel tube. BTW, 18 swg is a bit hefty - try and get 20 swg (0.914 mm, 0.036") if you can.
