sorry for the delays getting this one sorted
The track is being resurfaced and couldn't confirm until they knew for definite that it would be completed on time.

On the plus side, the circuit should be really really smoooooth!!

A follow-up announcement will be posted here once race entries are set up to book via the BHPC web shop.

Important Notice

I've just heard from Shrewsbury that their newly resurfaced track may not now be ready for the weekend. Apparently needs some additional minor work done to meet safety inspection requirements before they can open it for use. Will hopefully know by mid-week.

Stourport is available on Sunday 1st Aug.
Would obviously prefer a shrewsbury sunday as I'm conscious people will have already made plans and/or booked camping/accommodation  

So, I'll contact Shrewsbury on Wed.
If they cant give a definite yes to the track being ready on time, I'll book stouport for the Sunday, so we'll have 2 days at the same venue.

Will Post a definite answer here on Wed

Wherever the race on Sunday, there is a discussion on race format on FB. I hope we won't just do 2 races the same. A longer race (just one way) has been suggested. I thought we could add single lappers to that, preferably flying lap, with a warm up for those that want.

Fards is offering to ride to Shrewsbury to organise - I don't know if he'll be able to come if it's switched to Stourport as they are 40 miles apart. 
I think we're probably safe saying it will be a 90 minute race and a flying lap regardless of the venue...
