Entries for Gravesend close on Thursday morning.
Saturday will be a short sprint (15 minutes + 1 lap) anti-clockwise around the top oval, followed by a 45 minute + 1 lap race clockwise on the full circuit.

What time are we intending to start racing? Later, I hope, as the Young Lady has a commitment earlier in the morning.

It looks like we’ve got the track 12:30 - 17:00 so I’d expect the first race to be at around 1:30.

If you leave me a note in the comment field at sign on, I can put you in the faster (later) group, which might help?

Failing that, since the race start is ultimately determined by how long we spend hanging around waiting for gate access and tent erection before frantically setting up the timing kit, you could probably introduce an artificial delay by waylaying the right person on the way to the loos, hiding the tent pegs, or arranging for lots of people to suddenly need new timing tags...  Wink

Thanks but no special workarounds are required as there is enough time to get to the Cyclopark before 12:30. Not so if 11:30.

All pretty straightforward from a timing perspective, other than having to fudge the finish time of the 15min fast race because the software only understands integer numbers of minutes for race duration.

No missed tag reads!

Let me know if anything looks fishy...

Many thanks Kim, Heather and all… Great day of racing. *THAT* corner very nearly caught me out on my second lap when I ended up heading into the shrubbery on two wheels. Sadly I’d forgotten to start the video camera running!!
