Too windy last night for any meaningful performances and Monday morning also too blowy for any wind-legal runs. François Pervis raised some eyebrows with a V > 84 mph pass on his first run on the full course (having scratched last night). Monday morning results: https://jnyyz.wordpress.com/2022/09/12/bm-2022-monday-am-results/
Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow morning looks pretty grim chiz. We'll see…. Still, we have a new car park attendant: ![]() Edited by legs_larry - 12 September 2022 at 9:59pm |

Hurrah! We did get to run Tuesday morning after all. Andrea in Phoenix fastest with 76.63 mph; our man Russ 2nd with 64.46. Neither had legal wind chiz. Also those Frenchies didn't come out to play. But Alyssa Miller (11) set a mark for Women's U-12 Multi-Track with 21.22 mph starting 600 metres out from the traps.

Unspectacular morning session though Nice People Paul and Marilyn from Salt Lake City did let me loose in their Corvette Z06 to drive sweep. Sadly the prospect on a new record speed for a course car was thwarted by traffic each time so we only saw ~170 mph, well down on the 187 we got from Officer Day's Dodge Hellcat a few years back chiz. Francois did a wind-legal 78.85; Adam had a flat and binned Wahoo at low speed in mid-course. n00b Matilde qualified at 49.8 in TaurusX; Diego failed again on the short course but we had (almost enough) time in hand to give him a run on the full course - 39.84.
Tonight's weather forecast looks 'orrible but if we're lucky...
Titan has been confirmed as being out of the remainder of the event after last night's crash but stoker Bill Kong is going to try to qualify in Cyclone tomorrow morning. |

We weren't lucky. Rain stopped play again. But on the plus side, no Cliff Richard singing at us.

Dodged the showers and the sneks this morning. 8/8 complete runs had legal wind speed. Fastest was our own Russell Bridge with 73.79 mph. Yay and, moreover, w00t!
