The windscreen wiper looks like a useful accessory for our boxed-in brethren, although presumably would have to be powered by a drive shaft from the chainring to avoid being banned under the KERS rule.

How about something on the lines of the ones in some old cars driven off the exhaust pressure. In this case by blowing down a pipe. Having to harness your breathing like that would help to keep condensation (and rider will to live possibly) down as well.Smile

I note with interest that Ocean Cycle are exhibiting at the Cycle Show this week.  I hope to have opportunity to get a closer look at the Challenger. :)

Ocean Cycles. Could you check the material Marcin is now using for the shell? Sometimes he talks about 'carbon fibre', but the USA distributor describes it as GRP. The nett weight of the shell would be
helpful too....

Many thanks,

Alan B.

I visited the Ocen Cycle stand yesterday.  They had two variants of the Challenger: one with a front opening canopy; and another with the side opening one.  One was fitted with an electric assist system from Sunstar.

I asked about the body shell.  It is GRP but has some carbon fibre structural details in a few places.  They had no specs on their stand but have promised to email them to me shortly.
