Sorry, I won't be able to go to cycle vision as it clashes with another event I am already doing.

Racing is life...
Anything which happens before or afterwards is just standing around waiting to race....

If you rode there it might be considered tr**ning, which would earn you the disdain of all right-thinking people

After being told off by the moderator about my post (above), and the wording in it, and how it has caused offence ????? I hereby withdraw my post (above) and apologise for the hurtful words!

Back to topic!

As I understand it you were asked privately and politely to "consider how you phrase things to avoid offence".

Your reply by PM was reported as being less than polite and quite offensive.

You next two posts look very much like an attempt to bait myself or one the other moderators into some sort of reaction so fair enough here it is. Either play be the rules of the forum - or play somewhere else!

Reply to your points, in turn:

My original post was not offensive!

It was private so should not have been reported to anybody - however as you bring it up i think the phrase is "the truth hurts.....!"

The emoticon was there because my comments were tongue-in-cheek...

I wasn't really expecting any pedal cars to go to CycleVision...

For the record, the thread was not hijacked. The original post related to the date of CV 2011, so it was reasonable to point out that other HPV events that are usually attended by some BHPC members (Shenington and York) were on that same weekend.

The thread looks like it may have been hijacked now though... Tongue
