Hi All,

I have recievd the following request;

"Hi Stuart,

I am an occupational therapist working with a gentleman who has sustained a brain injury, as a result he is very unsteady. This gentleman used to be an avid cyclist and is interested in trying recumbent cycling.

Are there any clubs or opportunities where he could try a recumbent bike?

We live in the Midlands area and are able to travel.

A trike may better than a bike as he's unsteady.
May be worth them coming along to Curborough as they are in the midlands?

Great minds think alike! I have just emailed and invited them to Curborough and suggested a trike would be better for balance problems. Anyone taking one along he can try?

Also have someone locally who is a keen cyclist but no longer able to ride an upright due to a grip issue. Have recommended a visit to Bikefix or DTek.
He tried out the Bachetta but the peddles were not adjusted to him. Trying out the Evo produced big smiles. Maybe a trike will suit him best. I mentioned a visit to Curborough to possibly try out a machine on the track.

Do you know where in the Midlands? I loaned my trike to someone with a similar history and he loved it and then bought one.
