At the end of this year’s world champs, it was announced that next year’s champs would held be in the south of the Netherlands. That looks to be easily accessible from much of the UK.

Does anybody have any ideas when it is likely to be held?

We are very much looking towards next year’s Semaine Federale (given it is rumoured to be the last one) 02-09/08/26 and don’t really want to have to choose between them.

As far as I'm aware the date hasn't been decided. Us velomobile riders have a group on Facebook about riding there.

The World Championships are scheduled for the weekend of July 10, 11, and 12, 2026.
The World Championships are organized by the Netherlands and Belgium at Tom Dumolin Park in Geleen, the Netherlands. More information will follow.

Anyone planning to go to the Worlds via Hull-Rotterdam may like to know that P&O's prices will be going up by 15% on 2nd March.

Also, the organisers aren't wrong when they warn about a shortage of accommodation - virtually anywhere with a roof and a bed within 50km of Maastricht is already taken by Andre Rieu fans on Saturday night.

However there are plenty of Andre Rieu holiday packages that will probably get you somewhere...

The website is changing. Use Wereldkampioenschappen Ligfietsen 2026, https://worldchampionships26hpv.com/ for now. Only 4 UK competitors so far. There is a lot of pressure on accommodation in the area that week. I think the closing date is quite early. May be 10 March, though that might just be food.
