Can somebody offer to organise this race please?

Since every rider races at the same time, it has to be someone not racing and that person will also need to tally every rider. This isn't difficult at this circuit since the riders get so spaced out but does require you to sit in one place for 2 hours and concentrate.

We have all the organising equipment but Andrew will becoming on his own and racing so he can't do it.

We also need someone to transport the Gazebo and display boards from Castle Combe to York (see York CTC thread in the Social section)

Thanks

Heather

I`m willing to help out at Castle Combe., but I won`t be going to York as it conflicts with the Dutch Meeting at Sloten.  I expect to turn up at Malmesbury on the Saturday afternoon, and should be at the Circuit for 10.00am. Sunday.    Cookie.

I'm glad you said that, Cookie, because otherwise I would have arrived for the more usual afternoon start time! But sho' 'nuff, it says on the Events page:

"All events will be starting on the track at 11:00am (yes, that means Castle Combe as well)"

Given that we are doing the usual 2 hours and Jon wants to get the sprint traps set up as well as me setting up the timing system, maybe we do some sprints as a warm-up prior to running the main event?

Another thing, there will be some form of Classic car event in the competitors car park, we have got the space the other side of the Tavern (the cafe for those who haven't been there before) towards the Avon tyre bridge.

No still by the Competitors entrance, we will be parking still in the brown area but the other side of the Circuit Administration building.

It will give us the chance to show the petrol heads what technology really is!

Error on map- if I recall correctly, Castle Combe has no corners at all (at my speed). Yet suppose we must somehow turn 360 degrees per lap  Smile
