To date, nobody has stepped forward to organisate our next event.

In the interests of getting in another enjoyable day's racing, please can we have one or more  volunteers to lead or assist with the organisating?  If you haven't done it before and aren't sure what it involves, please let me know: I can send you a short guide.

Also, this may be a circuit where there are not on-site first-aiders.  Is anyone planning on going a qualified first aider?

Do we still not have an organisator for this one??

Any takers??

And any thoughts on race format and times??...
I have to be in Portsmouth for Casey's School's Rock Challenge final thingy later that day and I'm currently in negotiations with the higher authority to see if I can get to Stourport first...

There's still a vacancy on the organisatorial front.  Roll up! Roll up!

The track's web site suggests it can be used safely in either direction*, so the popular "two 30-min races in opposite directions" format, as Alan organised at Hillingdon, should be a possibility.

*We'd need to confirm on the day that this is the case at our superhuman speeds...

Anybody know what time the gates will be open (I've just had an email asking...)?

Who has the flags/bell/clock etc and are they going to be there?

And can we please have a volunteer to organise ASAP??

what time do you want this one to start ? sign on at 10am, race at 11 ?

I doubt I can get there much earlier than that as its 2 hours ride (I think) from mine, so if someone else can open up, get the intravenous caffeine going etc, it would be appreciated.

Two races 30mins each in opposite directions, points split 50:50 sounds sensible, with 5mins gap in between said races to get people warmed up and ready? slow -quick, slow -quick.

On the day if the track isn't great in one direction, then we'll do a TT  in a nice figure of 8 *** or something and a 45+1  ;)
alan in the slow race so he can go early?

I'll also bring my first-aid kit along.. I did say ages ago I'd cover this and DM (/me not looking at Adrain again..)  the more the merrier.

***joking *
