This is the place for comments and discussions about Round 3 of the BHPC Championship at York Sport Village on Sunday 25th May.

There is also a Facebook page for this event with an aerial view of the track, which doesn't even feature on Google Maps yet.

ok, after doing no cycling since Oct 13, starting running early March, tearing Hamstring mid March, i've just done my first bit of training (apart from carb loading that is) for York, i've just done 15 minutes on a stepping machine, boring, and not satisfying.  Do you think I'm ready for my first race?

Oh yes; in the slow race with my dad (you know who you are Wink).

Ian

Hey, my aero-belly is bigger than Fraser's, shame I'll have to cover it up it up in Wobbly's now very tight body!

I know the ladies will be dissapointed,  and the blokes will be glad they can't see my rippling, er muscles, but sometimes a man has to do what a man must do.

Now where's my beer gone?

So, you issue a public challenge to your Dad, in YOUR condition! Foolhardy in the extreme, I'd say. Cos' not a week has passed since Daddy took Odd Down by whimper, landing another heroic Lanterne Rouge and he is already in training, flicking elastic bands off his toes with one hand, whilst raising glasses of Redstreak Cider with the ...... Oh! S###

Ah you didn't see him at Bath... In fact very few actually saw him... Just flash, a puff of dust and the smell of burning rubber...

I'm not organising but it may be worth not being too prescriptive until we see the layout of the track. The aerial photo suggests some interesting options with different circuits:
