Any news on dates and locations for 2018, including whether the "Worlds" will be BHPC point scoring?
cheers Ian

Is there any information on the Yarborough/Lincoln circuit? We went to a circuit near there many years ago. Not good. The pic on Google Maps looks the same. |

Seems Yarborough is the one I remember. I asked Nick if he did. He said “Yes
I do, unnecessarily sharp corners, poor surface and needed the stuff
falling off the trees clearing away.”. My memory is the moss
growing on the corners. From Google Maps it does not appear to have changed, which may be why there are no details of the circuit available. Disappointing. Shawn and I were talking about doing Scunthorpe to see how fast Notso can go, but I don't think it is worth going to Yarborough.

Was that the track where kids were riding mini quad bikes all over the place and there was a football match going on in the middle of the track? There was a very green, mossy patch under one of the trees that was slippery - The other thing I remember about it was that it was Lee Wakefield's first race (on a KMX trike)... I had a very close race with him on my Kingcycle.

We did discuss if the Worlds counted for points. Can't remember for sure what the conclusion was. My vote is not. There will be a lot of one time competitors to list and the classes are slightly different. |

Correct - We decided against the Worlds doubling up as a BHPC points event this time.
Race numbers will also be different, everyone will get a new one allocated on a first come, first served basis, starting at 500...
