Well done!. I'm not very familiar with the machines the pedalcar drivers use, but it would be great to see some out at the Worlds next year* :) They look very "specific to task" And good to meet the the riders too.
*Perhaps a formal BHPC welcome to BPCC drivers would be helpful? Edited by Yowie - 05 September 2011 at 6:42pm |

The final race of the BPCC calendar this year is at Curborough on 24th September - It's a 150 mile race running into the night (ending at around 8pm so the last hour or so will be in darkness with lights on the cars...)

That is actually the best description I have yet heard as to why a pedal car is different to a HPV.
They are specificly racing machines - more human powered cars than 4 wheeled cycles - with handling characteristics just as important as aerodynamics, durability just as important as outright speed and the need for each car to fit at least 4 different shaped drivers.
In a straight line they tend to be slower but they come into their own when you put them on a twisty kart track such as Blackbushe and especially in somewhat margnial conditions...

Racing is life...
Anything which happens before or afterwards is just standing around waiting to race.... |
