It now looks like I'm going to Mallory Park on Sunday for the Post TT Classic Bike meeting... Bummer that those dates clash because I'd really have liked to see his record attempt

Dave needs small sand bags to place around the track to keep him outside the race line. Can anyone help?

Thanks - JW

Very gutsy attempt today, in tough conditions. There was a strong headwind on the back straight, nowhere near compensated by the tailwind on the other side. Dave did 30.871Km/H for 4Km, 29.463 Km/H for 10Km and 28.073 Km for the hour. Many thanks to those who helped out.

Indeed, a valiant attempt . To keep going knowing
he was down on speed showed great courage.

Better luck next time, David.

What Dave G said.  Sorry I couldn't make it, but I had a prior engagement with the "Here Be Dragons" territory either side of the Walesish border...
