On that note - can I make a suggestion.  I felt quite guilty since I didn't really have time to talk to them.  Can I suggest in future we have some poeple who can 'help' first timers.  Everything from how to place the numbers, where to go for the start, how to get a timer, introduce them to a few people, etc.  It would just make their introduction into the club a bit easier.  Of course the second time thenwe could put them through the full initiation ceremony activities

Me unlady like!! never.  who said anyone need behave like a lady, when riding a funny bike with your legs sticking out the front.  the only person I know to be lady like on a recumbent is Sarah Tweddle, and as a 9 year old there is some excuse.

Actually Alan, I concurr, it was one of the best races of the year, having you and Jon to race against made it fun.
