I know Jon and Ann contributed a very nice bell. I have aquired another which is very robust and much louder. Downside is you don't wave it around. It is an old fire bell. It has a big steel dome on an aluminium back plate with a handle you turn round. It is surprisingly light and could be mounted on the back of the clock/lap stand. Not sure where this is going. I guess I can put it on a seperate stand and we can try it out. Very unlikely to break or lose it's clanger!

I was allowed to ring the BPCC one once and the clapper fell off Unhappy .

I assume that streamliner riders will be able to hear it, so they won't need a visual indicator.  They can probably see the bell being wound up though...
