Dear All,
Dave Abrutat hopes to do an hour record attempt this summer at Reading track. He would like IHPVA witnesses. I think any of us can do that. I hope I'll be there but some others and some support will be welcome. He's given me lots of potential dates, June 4th, 5th, 12th, 18th or Sept 4th. I expect it will narrow down. I met up with Dave on his aound the coast of Britian ride. He certainly is a fit guy and and a nice chap to boot. If I could persuade Sherri to give me a lift down to this? I might go. |

Dave tells me the times are 13.00 to 14.45. Anyone who is willing to hold a watch should be available at least half an hour ahead. Dave has not sorted out the small sand bags he will need to keep him outside the black line. If you can help him, please let him know. I expect to be a timekeeper. We will need another main timekeeper , plus 2 for 4,000m and 2 for 10,000m. I have the watches. I hope Dave will find out where they should be placed. I don't think Dave understands that I can't be part of his team, and be timekeeper. If you can be part of his team, them please contact him. |
