Is there a class for blue 4 wheelers pedalled by people born in 1974?

Wondering whether to bring the pedal car to Darley Moor or not and this could swing it for me.
Racing is life...
Anything which happens before or afterwards is just standing around waiting to race....

Any more changes needed???
If so get them in quick folks...

Thanks for clarifying this  -  I didn't want to cause any trouble but was just trying to understand the class system.  I read the definitions and hadn't stopped to think that it might be controversial.

To answer your earlier question we definitely will not be challenging for Sports and Street classes this season !

Can we just clarify something for Tandems then - so they classify for both riders as 2 individual results (had this last season where different people rode the tandem in different races).  My view is no - and a tandem classifies as one result so the riding 'pair' is effectively seen as one rider.  Otherwise we could end up with a joint winner in all the classes - riding the same bike Shocked

I should point out that this is more of a problem since we now regularly have 2 rounds at an event.  More of a tendency for people to change riders between rounds

Yes, and a sub-class for blue 4 wheelers with an orange stripe along the front... Big smile

The pedal cars were going well at Darley Moor last year and I think they surpriised quite a few people... It would be good to see some there.

I agree - I think the same could be applied to a pedal car team that wanted to give a couple of drivers a bit of practice - I don't see a problem with one driving in round one and another in round 2 on the same basis as a tandem switching riders between rounds...

Yes, that's how it should be, and how it's been operated previously.  I think the last people to ride solo and tandem in the same season may have been Claire and me.  We had three entries in the overall championship table: one for me, one for Claire and a third, entirely separate one for us combined.  See http://www.bhpc.org.uk/Data/Sites/1/archive/events/events03/tables03.html

We (that's Judith and me) rode our (upright) tandem at the last Curborough event - 2009, was it?

But we weren't particularly bothered about the points we might have scored, and we won't be doing it again Smile

Yes - there definitely was an event last year with a Tandem - there were two rounds in it - and different people raced in each - could find out which but spent a long time getting it to work (And won't be bothering again Evil Smile )

So you did - I apologise for forgetting.  As for Claire and me in 2003, the 2009 championship tables show you and Judith having solo points totals and a third, separate one as a tandem crew
