Great professional quality photos! (Did anyone get a pic of my disappearing into the shrubbery?)
I did get some video of the start and first lap but accidentally turned my camera off before I crashed on about lap 12! I apologise for the crooked horizon-- I hadn't tested the camera mount in advance- it has no viewer so the only way to set it up is to take some video then download it to a computer.
QuattroVelo #13 (2016)now eQV!
Snoek#18 Too tight!
Brompton P6- for shoppping!
Vitus Escarpe eMTB for off-road fun.

I think your lap count is correct Neil, as you did not lap me,

Adding a lap to Neil's tally would be consistent with not lapping Bazz.  His finishing time is higher  than Bazz's. Neil would have had to gain another 30s or so to lap Bazz.  I may be mistaken, but I think Neil had one of those fancy Garmin GPS-wot-logs-your-laps-automagically* boxes on his handlebars, so he's probably right.

* As referred to in the timing system discussion.  Currently somewhat more expensive than a MYLAPS tag, but for how long?

Hi all

First ever race on Sunday, never mind it was in the wife's trike. Lovely bunch you all are, never had so many nods when going past people. Nothing like embankment on a monday morning.

Bit of an epic start to the slow race I thought. I got off the line alright, but got munched by everything on 2 wheels up the slope and by the end of lap 1 was near last. Took the rest of the race to haul all but 4 back in.  Loads of fun. Hopefully I'll be back to pit crew duties next time, although maybe not...

My first ever HPV race and what great fun it was - i managed to get some video so will post link once i get it edited and up on Youtube.

I saw someone taking photos of the second race, anyone got a link?

Now all i need to do is keep borrowing the Kingcycle each time a round comes up Wink

Thanks for the suggestion to come along Sam and was novel to line up against three other KC's as im sure there cant be many more left in use Cry

Not sure how i will feel stepping up to the big boy group and the mirrors will get a lot more use, so off to practice getting out of the way of faster vehicles (commuting)
