How old is George, Barney??
Old enough to have a play on the Estrellita?

George is 11 and he'd be more than happy to have a play on the Estrellita as the Harle team mechanic is very slow at finishing the present junior recumbent build, just a case of co-ordinating how we get hold of it, no doubt we'll manage that somehow.

On behalf of Claire and myself, I'd like to thank all those who helped out with the organisating, including gNick for all his help with the timing system and registration, Geoff and Fiona, Jon and Anne, all those who took on the marshalling duties so necessary at Lancaster - and anyone elso who lent a hand and I've forgotted.

And on behalf of my body, bedsheets and employer, I'd like to thank the people at Dainese, whose excellent elbow/forearm guards saved me from the likelihood of unpleasant injuries. Again.

If you're still racing without elbow protection, I heartily recommend you get some.  Slash tells me that he wears elbow guards even on his commute (where he's unfaired).  If a twice world champion thinks it's a good idea...

Hearty thanks to Adrian, Claire, and gNick, and to anybody else who lent a hand - it was a great trikefest weekend.

mNick was first across the line in the slow race, and he didn't lap Joe, nor Andy, Sarah or Richard. But he did lap everybody else - just before the finish line, in the cases of Barney and John L. Joe was riding Geoff's T7 bike, not Heather's trike, on Sunday.

Oh, and thanks for putting the unfaired trikes together - it made the racing fun Smile

Aaron is 11 and he rides it with no problems - We'll have to sort out getting him on it...

In case it helps......at the slower end of the slow race I passed (at least once) George, Nikki (on my trike), a chap on a stick bike and a new recruit on a trike (apologies that I don't know names). I finished just behind Judith on the same lap.

Thanks Heather, a picture is slowly emerging...
Does Nikki have any idea where she was?  Her tag seems not to have recorded anything during the race.
