Thanks very much for taking the pictures and making them available, Paul. A good record of a track that will soon be no more, as well.

Thanks alot

I do believe that was my best corner. i did notice some interest from all the photographers around that corner.

But with closer inspection myself. i see my first finger slightly on the brake which is a bit of a cheat.

although i hate eastway that is the best bit of the track

That's a great shot, really is, definitely worth a poster blow-up,,,framed, and hung in a suitable place for ones mates to see!
Somehow, it just doesn't look possible!

Unlike this one, demonstrating a lean angle that clearly wasn't possible. Ouch. Hope it didn't cost too much skin...

And a photograph doesn't often capture body language quite as well as this oneOuch.

There are some impressive pictures in that collection.  Thanks for making them available, Paul

Would that be the moment at which Dr. Cox suddenly became the 2005 Unfortunate Scotsman?

Indeed.

It was too much to ignore, given the extreme shinyness and carbon envy being generated in the fettlin' paddock prior to racetime ....

I am pleased to say that (from my point of view, anyway), the damage to the bike was not too severe and eminently repairable.  However, Dr. C is probably still feeling the lack of skin over certain areas of leg
