Quibbles are more than welcome on condition that the first person quibbling volunteers to organise at Rhyl... Wink

Many thanks to everybody who came to play...
Thanks to Heather for doing the lap counting/timing with help from Claire, John and Chris (I think).
Thanks to Alan B for helping with signing on.

Thanks once again to Kevin for the spreadsheet that makes organising races so easy...

Absolutely no thanks whatsoever to Hutchinson Tyres for the piece of poo that was on the front of my Kingcycle.

Gutted that I didn't get to see the track the other way round but relieved the tyre didn't do that yesterday morning going down Ivinghoe Beacon at close to 40MPH...

Looks good to me Alan, thanks.  I feel that the real average speeds were a bit lower than those in the results.  Perhaps you're using the mid track length not the racers' line length.  No bother.

I've finally found an alternative to the Hutchinson 450A tyres... I'm going to give these a try...

Stone me Shocked And "with Bibendum in colours"!!

Thanks to Alan, Heather and their helpers for organising a jolly good, if rather exhausting, day's racing. Judith and I both slept like logs last night...

Having done a couple of hundred miles on them they are certainly a big improvement on the Hutchinsons... Probably no faster (we'll see at Rhyl...) but I doubt they are any slower and they are much more comfortable on the road.
They feel a lot more secure in corners as well although I haven't tried them in the wet yet!
I've ordered a matching one for th back now... but only SJS seem to stock them...
