As those who have been to recent BHPC races will know, I need to source a longer cable for at least one of the trackside antennas to avoid the timing system encroaching on the track. Unfortunately this turns out to be quite a specialist item so I wonder if any of the more electronically-savvy forum readers could help source the following RF cable:
Connector A: Male N (straight or, ideally, 90deg)
Connector B: Reverse-polarity TNC (RP-TNC, RTNC or female TNC), straight
Cable: 50ohm low-loss
Length: >=10m
Ideally I'd like a pre-built assembly for robustness but if someone can assemble the parts that could be an acceptable alternative. The sticking point seems to be the RP-TNC connectors.

Hi Andrew

Let me have a closer look at the cables if you bring the timing system to Hillingdon. I may be able to help as I still have my BNC crimp tool. Then we can see what Farnell have available.

Regards

Brian.
