Anyone know how much it is to hire Herne Hill Velodrome now? I had a look at it a few months ago now it is "back to black" with new facilities and thought it a great improvement. Roy

Yes, it now has a new smooth black tarmac surface and new stands, cafe, storage showers etc. I don't know what the pricing is, but it was always a popular venue with BHPC racers. There is a bigger HPV following in the area now as London Recumbents have been hiring out recumbents for the last 23 years or more in Dulwich Park and you can always see large numbers cycling round. London Recumbent use the track every week as well I think. Had a Police bike mechanic visit me the other day and he knew all about recumbents from his visits to London Recumbents and hiring them in Dulwich Park. That's where I rode my first recumbent over 23 years ago thanks to LR. Roy
