I'm planning on riding my Quest down to far west Cornwall in mid/late Feb. The route is basically Winchester/Alton to Hayle. Does anyone have any recommendations for this route or parts of it, both to take and to avoid!

I will probably do this over 2 days, unless anyone has other suggestions?

Many thanks
Neil

The Saltash bridge, although serviceable, isn't much fun, and despite what it looks like, the chain-ferry to Torpoint puts you on a tight A-road that also isn't much fun on a bike. Stay north of Plymouth, don't come any further south than Princetown on Dartmoor until you get into Kernow.
