Hi All (especially London-based riders).

Please see email below requesting recumbent riders for a video shoot in London.
I have pointed out that what we would really like is for recumbents to actually be allowed in more British Cycling events!!!

 I hope you are well.

 I am getting in touch with regards to an exciting opportunity we have coming up! We are looking for some Recumbent riders to feature in the Track World Cup promotional video which will be played on the big screen during the three day event in London, and will feature in a variety of campaigns across British Cycling, UK Sport, Lee Valley VeloPark and the Track World Cup's platforms.

World-class track cycling is returning to London’s iconic Lee Valley VeloPark this December with the 2018 TISSOT UCI Track World Cup. We want you to be a part of the journey #BackToTheTrack and feature in a cinematic promotional video through the rich tapestry of London’s cycling community.

 

Showcasing some of the best track racing in the world, the Track World Cup will feature a host of international cycling heroes, including Olympic and world champions, as they register qualifying points for Tokyo 2020.

 

Working with sport, strategy and syndication consultancy, Sportsbeat, we are looking for an exciting and eclectic mix of riders; BMX, Tandem, Penny-farthing to name but a few! Want to get involved? Sign up now!

 

Key information

 

Filming location: London (meeting points to be arranged on successful appointment).

 

Date required: Monday 3rd or Tuesday 4th or Wednesday 5th

 

Time: Between 6:00am - 9:00am or 6:00pm - 9:00pm.

 

What's required: You and your bike! On the day, Sportsbeat will film you following our lead cyclist to the iconic velodrome at Lee Valley VeloPark, past a variety of locations that are quintessentially London! 


The video will be played on the big screen during the three-day event and will feature in a variety of campaigns across British Cycling, UK Sport, Lee Valley VeloPark and the Track World Cup's platforms.

Has to be September, as that's the only month between now and December which has a Monday the 3rd, Tuesday the 4th and Wednesday the 5th. Wink
