Hi
I'm after an 80T chainring, any BCD. Easy I thought - Dutch Bike Bits have them. Wrong! - they've stopped shipping to the UK after the Brexit clusterf*ck. Aaaaargh...
To quote from their website:
Unfortunately, we will not be able to send parcels to the UK from mid December 2020 onward. Quite apart from uncertainty due to Brexit surrounding the shipping cost, taxation etc. after that time, there is also a problem caused by  https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/changes-to-vat-treatment-of-overseas-goods-sold-to-customers-from-1-january-2021/changes-to-vat-treatment-of-overseas-goods-sold-to-customers-from-1-january-2021" rel="nofollow - the British government deciding to impose a unique taxation regime  which will require every company in the world in every country in the world outside the UK which exports to the UK to apply and collect British taxes on behalf of the British government.
Does anyone have an alternative supplier, or have a contact in Europe who could purchase one of these and post it to me? (I know that's a long shot...)
Thanks
Russ

A 75t ring is available from Dublin. Is that close enough?

Russ

Get your engineering buddies busy and use GIles Pucket's Sprocket Plotter -  https://www.moz.geek.nz/mozbike/giles.html  any size any BCD printed off to your liking along with options for oval.

Yes, I can have it sent to somebody in Germany who then sends it to you.

LOL

Many thanks for the quick replies - my immediate thought is to go with Jochen's offer of help posting from Germany, but I've just looked at the Royce Engineering website and they might be able to help with a thin bottom bracket as well - I'll get in touch with them first, and then come back to Jochen if I can't make headway with Royce.
Thanks for the replies all.

I have an 80t ring, it doesn't have a BCD as it was mounted on cross beam and external bearings, came off Wobbly Bob/Bubble and Squeak, I'm sure it could be bolted onto aluminium plates which in turn drilled for any BCD, you can have it if want for the price of postage, It's laser cut stainless IIRC.

Another thought Russ if Royce doesn't work out is go straight to Leo at Alligt, I did that just before Christmas when David at Dutch bike bits said he wasn't sending anything (before there were any VAT implications), and maybe Ymte at Intercitybikes would help with the export side of things (they share the same unit) as he must still be sending stuff to the UK for Df velomobiles.
