Hello fellow HPV drivers,

I am Anirudh Padamati from Cranfield University currently pursuing my MSc in Aerospace Vehicle Design.

For my thesis, I am designing an Human Powered Aircraft with a recumbent cabin for the pilot (for a kremer prize of 26 mile marathon within an hour).

I would like to obtain the following information from drivers with recumbent (and cyclists) vehicles :

1) Driver's energy measurement (via power meter etc) throughout the course and isometric view of vehicle used. (Reqd)

2) If possible, Driver's comparision of recumbent vehicle and bicycle energy consumption on the same track. (optional, only if available)

My request is that the data be put into a single "rar" file so that it is easier to upload!

This will help me design an HPA which can fly 26 miles within an hour and help me prove that recumbent cabin drivers expend less energy due to its superior aerodynamic properties (based on data).
