Hi all, I'm new to Recumbent riding and have purchased a nice, twitchy Metabikes Highracer (Metaphysic) with 700C wheels and significant heel-strike.
I'd like to get shorter cranks, but the main bike shops only go down to 165mm and there aren't many that stock triple chainsets in these, never mind anything shorter. Can anyone recommend where to get short crank triple chainsets from? Cheers

Mike Burrows will shorten cranks. I can PM a phone number if you're interested.

Ok thanks for that. I expected Mike Burrows would do this but I couldn't find contact details for him. Unfortunately it's taken a long time for my query to be visible on the forum and in the mean time I've found I can get short crank chainsets from Icletta in Germany, so one is on its way.
Could you PM me Mike's contact number anyway. Many thanks

The cheap ways to get a taste are kiddy or child cranks.
Stronglight, TA, Suntour, Sugino etc are worth Googling The adult options from Thorn, ICE, HP-Velotechnic, TA are more pricey but come out lighter, better finished and with more gear options. Again Google.
