I wasn't drafting you Lee, I was pushing...

My speedo said 20.0MPH at the end and you were pretty close to me. Maybe my speedo is a bit optimistic because that's faster than I would have expected on the Hurri, let alone the Kingcycle!!

It'll be interesting to see the official results.

Hopefully see you at a few more races now...

The results are now up, they say we both did 19.0 Mph so both our computers were optimistic.  Also the results say you rode a Challenge Hurricane but your bike in the race looked like a kingcycle.
Current fleet: Milan SL MK2 #027, Fujin SL II, Beany!

Well spotted!

It's got me as being on the Kingcycle in the overall results, but on the Hurri in the race.

It's my fault for confusing everybody by turning up on different bikes!

I thought my speedo was a little optimistic. I think it was about 1MPH over the top at Preston as well. I'm pretty happy with 19.0 around there to be honest. I doubt I would have been any faster on the Hurri.

I notice that Jonathan Woolrich (he was the one who was just getting away from you and me when he had a puncture) just pipped us by a few seconds having fixed it and gone out again in the fast race... Good effort Jonathan!!!
