On behalf of the 25th Salendine Nook Scouts, a group I support as an assistant leader and where George attends scouts.
We are looking for 20 inch or smaller wheels that the scouts can use for the building of karts - initially simple gravity karts but hopefully progressing towards formal pedal cars or streamline trikes (as proposed by one scout - not George).
So if you've got any left overs, no matter how shabby, heavy or odd in size, in your homebuild boxes / sheds / garages we'd welcome them and they would be put to good use.
I should be at all of the races up until July so can collect if you've got anything you can donate.
Many thanks
Barney

Probably worth posting this on the pedal car forum Barney... http://www.pedalcars.info/forum/default.asp Most of those guys are running 20 inch wheels now but until fairly recently there were a lot of cars with 16 inch wheels so there may be some lying around somewhere... |

There are two original-size Kingcycle wheels cluttering up our garage. You'd be welcome to those, though you'd then have the problem of tyres. I'll have a look to see what we have in that line - you're welcome to whatever we have - but it won't be anything other than one or two of the infamously-bad Hutchinson jobs.
