Having put the 20inch rear wheel back on the Allewedder the gearing understandably is really low with the 52tooth chainring (87 - 30 gear inches) spinning out at 25mph

What gearing are people gerenally running with 20inch rear velos?

I have a monster 75tooth chainring which will give me quite a healthy range (125 - 43 gear inches) BUT a touch too high lowest gear for the hills and not sure it would be much use using the front derailier to shift off it...

may just stick it in anyway and just HTFU Angry

My little Catrike Speed has a Schlumph HSD which gives an effective 30/75 and works very well.

got the big Chainring in but having a few alignment issues on the chainrun which are fiddly and frustrating but not insurmountable
