Great, I think I've got a fleet of machines to choose from
. If possible, I'll try Lee's Quest but it may be too short. Second best Ratracer or a Cobra!

If it helps Howard, I could hitch my velomobile trailer to the car and give you and Great White a lift to Curborough.

Thanks Alan. I don't think it works logistically. I'll be living near Lee in Lincolnshire. Great White is in Wiltshire, although I do have access to it. Probably a lot of miles and effort to get to ride the GW. If plans change I'll check back with you

Can I ask if the racing format will be the usual fast, slow, races?
Only reason to ask is a friend is coming to race and will be borrowing one of my machines to race on, too many people and not enough races otherwise. Karl

Curborough is very narrow in places so we will almost certainly split the field into fast and slow. Current thinking is for one shortish race around the top circuit, possibly clockwise, then one longish race around the whole circuit, anticlockwise. However this remains TBC so don't go tuning your tyres just yet.

The format for the racing at Curborough will be as follows:10.00 sign on opens
11.00 one lap time trial clockwise on the top circuit 11.30 sign on closes 12.00 15 minute (slower) race, anticlockwise on the top circuit 12.30 15 minute (faster) race, anticlockwise on the top circuit 13.30 45 minute (slower) race, on the full circuit, direction to be decided by popular vote on the day 14.45 45 minute (faster) race, on the full circuit, direction to be the same as the slow race! Hope to be finished by 15.45 Heather and Andrew |
