Results have now gone to the Competition Secretary for vetting and subsequent posting, after which the wrangling may commence. Although if you all did your thing with the stopwatches properly, there won't be any, will there?

Absolutely chuffed as my main aim today was to get round in one piece and get some time on the bike...

It looks like the fast/slow split wasn't far wrong in the end... Top 5 all from the fast race (and Sarah would have been up there as well if she hadn't had a mishap...)

My thanks to Nick, Barney and crew for today's arrangements and apologies for wimping out of the 2nd race and retiring cold and feeling a bit old!

I'm starting a campaign for Spring Weather Payments as I found the recent pension increase insufficient to fund enough layers to cope with Shrewsbury's micro climate .......

I shall borrow Mrs B's mink undergarments for Rhyl, just in case ..... Cheers!

Thanks to Nick, Barney, et al, for running the event so smoothly.

It was good to finally get back on the bike for race reasons (highlighting my lack of fitness!) and great to see everyone. The results (speedy work) look good to me.

Anyone brave holding a camera in the cold and get any pictures?

By the way Alan, congrats on the intro of the ratracer, I assume we'll be seeing you graduate to the fast race now!
