There is an 'earlybird' booking rate for trade pitches too:-
   3 m x 3 m pitch is £50 for cycle clubs

Booked and paid before March the 7th..

BHPC will be hosting a recumbent race session at the new 250m outdoor velodrome at York Sport Village as part of the Rally on Sunday 21st June. Entry will be free for BHPC members and £5 for non-members (pay on the day).

There will be a guided ride for anyone wanting to take part to and from the main rally site at Knavesmire. The provisional schedule is:
11:15               Depart Knavesmire
12:00-13:00    BHPC recumbent races on Sport Village velodrome
13:00-14:00    All-comers open session on velodrome
14:00-14:30    Ride back to Knavesmire
This timetable is subject to change at short notice so please check back here, on our Facebook Events page, or at the BHPC stand at the Rally for latest details.

How far is it from Knavesmere to the sports village ? keen, but not sure about riding race bike on the streets. was hoping to bring daft yellow bike just to tootle about on the grass with.

York has many cycling routes, there is a cycle route from the Knavesmire to the Sports Village, see attached link. Most of the route is car free.

More details about the velodrome races at York Cycle Rally on Sunday June 21st:-

There will be two 20-minute races:

12:10    multitracks (trikes and velomobiles) and slower riders
12:40    faster riders

Races are open to both BHPC members and non-members but are for recumbents only (the track will be open to non-recumbents after 1:00pm). Entry is free for BHPC members and £5 for non-members.

These races don't earn BHPC Championship points, just kudos.

Is it wise to have one of the fastest forms of HPV riding with the two slowest? It is contrary to how we normally race.

I think i will re-assess whether i think the risk to me is low enough to be worth it.

I just want to be on track with riders that don't change line I expect I'll be going round at 40+mph and can't just change line, looking forward to a good weekend.
