both pubs in bishops castle have a brewery, another reason for wanting to move there..
There's a campsite at Bridgnorth but it's off-route.

I was just thinking...
The "events" section of the main website isn't showing any details of the 2007 programme, just last year's. The casual visitor would be forgiven for thinking that we're not racing this year. With less than two weeks to the first race, wouldn't it be a good idea to update the "events" page?

The only 2 sites I've been to around here are SevernGorge in Ironbridge and Lower Lacon in Wem. Neither very close to Shrewsbury.

Pub was probably the Three Tuns at Bishops Castle. |
Ah! Judith and I were in there (twice) last weekend while walking in the Stiperstones. Nice food and superb beer, especially the Three8 Oddly enough, Judith's Stobbies thrashed my Nobbies 8-3 on the way home

I may be mistaken, but I believe these might be colloquial terms for the vehicles of Edward Stobart and Norbert Dentressangle's haulage businesses. I'm a Willi man myself. Willi Betz that is.

Correct. 1 point for each. 3 bonus points if you see a lorry with your own name on it. Plus extra optional house rules for convoys and "nominated assists". Our car journeys can be tense affairs

I'll make enquiries about campsites. About how many pitches will be needed? |
I'm happy to look around at some sites round here but need to know roughly how many pitches would be needed. All tents or any caravans?
Anyone interested in/members of YHA?
Is Bridgnorth too far out?
What about a site between Telford and Bridgnorth?
Give me a clue and I'll see what I can find.
