i sent them a message asking them to look at The World Championships at Monza!
I was toying with the idea of going but £18 for a 6 lap qualifier and a 7 lap final seems a bit steep (assuming qualification of course), plus travelling....only to be thrashed by local lads - Neil and Howard!!! |

just read the details for the race formats, each heat will consist of no more than 50 riders, with the top 50 from all the heats going through to the final. Me thinks that there might only be a "final".....so actually £18 for 7 laps is very very steep!

just had an email from the events organiser who was advised yesterday that there IS a world championship, he did say it was the UCI that had told him that there wasn't.
I did also suggest that a "no fee" race might attract recumbent racers, most of whom would have to travel quite large distances. He is looking into this !!!!!!!!!!
