I'm fairly sure that me, Barney and Leo lapped Anne just before the end of the first slow race and she then rode with us until the finish.

Fiona was on the same lap as us so would have been in front of Anne for the Ladies points I think?

Can somebody confirm this please?

Can we calm down a bit here. There are some mistakes and some of the results take a while to get right.

Believe it of not people do this in their spare time and it does take quite a lot of time. It would be good if it was appreciated.

So can we all take a deep breath before posting please.  Smile

Could it be that Ian's stopwatch time was for the end of his warm-down lap? Having helped with the finish order in the slow race, I know it can be difficult to know if someone has finished or not.

Alan - I'll check with Fiona.

I can confirm this, You all sprinted away form me Cry, and Anne was a lap down, and she went over the line just after you and about 20 metres in front of me, so we would have been on the same lap but I was a lap up, if you see what I mean

I do appreciate it, that is why as soon as it was mentioned that my tag did not work, despite working 60hrs in 4 days last week, i thought i could help the process and in my spare time - what little there was of it look through my video of the entire race and give how many laps I did, who passsed me, and when, also when seeing what time had been given  to me do it all again to give a time and who finished in front of me and by what margin....

I've now taken everyone's finish times from the trackside video and your time should be 33:36.31, not 34:32.26 as originally posted. The trackside video time is calibrated against the 11 tags which were working in that race, so is measured from when the first person crossed the line at the start. This may account for the discrepancy of 4.31s compared to your video.

My apologies for this error which was probably due to a typo in the sheet of finish times I got from Jon and Anne.

Also there seems to be no time listed for my second race.
We also perhaps ought to be listed o/mf although my second race was just an O

Agreed:
  • Bev Ashton's tag missed 3 laps during her second race so should be 12, not 9.
  • Your tag didn't work at all at Lancaster. Your result for the second race was 15 laps in 33:47.41.
Commissaire's ruling is that rider's using multiple machines at one event only gain points in the common classes which in this case is 'O'.

Fixes will appear shortly in Lancaster Results v2.0.

Agreed: both Anne C's and Jon C's laps should be 14, not 15. My typ0 entering the results - sorry!
