I would like to ride both events; I can get Lorraine to count laps.

Everybody gets to ride in both directions - but assuming a reasonable number of people turn up we will split the field into two (nominally fast and slow)... So the people in the fast race would count laps for the people in the slow race and vice-versa...

There will therefore be 4 races in total, with every rider taking part in two... Big smile

Thinking about heading up, just trying to work out how feasible it is to ride there, grunting the Quest over the top of the horseshoe pass might hurt.

If you want £16 worth at the camp site it might be an idea to bring a marquee Wink.

Much respect to the Comp Sec for having the race on a Saturday: the forecast is much better than for Friday or Sunday. It's what we pay our memberships for.

I'm finally at the camp site after a grim 6 hour drive.
Weather is ok here at the moment.
Hoping to have a sneaky look at the track later

Unfortunately had to cancel my plans to camp tonight due to family committments so will see you all in the morning.

Forecast looks promising, as do the photos of the track.

Only me, Mike and Slash camping in the end.
Nice morning here. Chilly but no wind. Which is somewhat surprising after last night's Indian. :o)
